From Archbishop Schnurr

Laborers for the Harvest

For several years now, we have together fulfilled the Lord’s instruction to “ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for the harvest” (Mt 9:38; Lk 10:2). Our prayer for vocations has borne much fruit, as the number of seminarians at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West has more than doubled over the past seven years. On Saturday, May 19, at Saint Peter in Chains Cathedral, I will have the great joy of ordaining four of these men – Deacons Craig Best, Jarred Kohn, Andrew Smith, and Jacob Willig – to the priesthood. Let us join together in praying for them and their vocations. And let us also continue to ask our Lord to send laborers for the harvest.
