St. John’s parish in West Chester is seeking enthusiastic and organized candidates for the position of Pastoral Associate for Children’s Faith Formation. The primary responsibility for this position is the religious education and formation, including sacramental preparation, of the children of St. John’s parish. There are also responsibilities for creating and monitoring a budget and working as a member of the Pastoral Team on other parish activities (such as Generations of Faith). The religious formation program is a year-round process and includes the Parish School of Religion, the Loreto and home-school religious education programs. Successful candidates will be proficient in the use and application of Microsoft Office products. Experience with PDS is a plus. Candidates must be practicing Catholics with an undergraduate degree (masters preferred). Previous experience in education is a plus.
