Help for Athletic Organization Compliance
First of all, let us say THANKS! All over the nineteen counties of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, people like you are making a big difference in countless ways for the thousands of kids who participate in Catholic Youth Athletics.
Although promulgated on March 1, 2014, leagues and athletics organization will have some time to fully implement all the expectations of the Charter in the coming months. The first step is for leagues and parish/school athletics organizations to submit compliance materials. This refers to ensuring that any organizational documents (i.e., a boosters or school athletics handbook) are in compliance with the Charter. To help with this, Athletics Leaders (perhaps through their pastor or principal) should have received the Athletics Organization Compliance Response form in the mail. This form is to be filled out and returned to the Commission by March 15, 2015. If you still need one, please download a copy below:

Finally, below is a quick snapshot of the timeframe developed for implementation of the Charter.
|Aug. 1, 2014||Commission provides compliance materials to leagues and athletics organizations. Leagues have five months to complete the self-assessment and submit completed compliance materials. Athletics organizations have 7½ months to complete the self-assessment and submit completed compliance materials.|
|Dec. 31, 2014||Deadline for compliance materials from leagues to Commission.|
|Mar. 15, 2015||Deadline for compliance materials from athletics organizations to Commission. Commission decisions on league compliance are communicated.|
|July 15, 2015||Commission decisions on athletics organization compliance are communicated.|
