Catholic schools are a national treasure. In the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, we are blessed with some of the best schools in the country. For generations, our schools have successfully educated young people through authentic faith formation programs and top-notch academic offerings. From superior test scores to astoundingly high rates of parent satisfaction, Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati have a demonstrated history of success.
At the request of Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr, we have initiated a vision planning process for the Catholic schools. This process will involve developing a wider view of our schools. We will be evaluating how we can even better position our schools to meet the needs of our populations. We will be working together to best advance Christ’s calling to the ministry of education.
Our 113 schools serve diverse populations in greatly different locations. Yet we are unified by a common mission. As we formulate our vision for the future, we will ensure that our schools remain beacons of God’s light.

Furthermore, I encourage you to participate directly in our visioning process. It is vital that our vision reflect the needs, insights, and opinions of the Archdiocese. Evangelization & Catechesis Vision
We, the Staff of the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, advocate for the essential role of catechetical ministry in the evangelizing mission of the Church. We serve parish and school leaders by providing formation, direction skill development and resources that promote effective lifelong catechesis.
