Our Mission
Statement

The Archdiocesan
Family Life Office nurtures and empowers people through ministry to
families, parishes, parish clusters, and deaneries. The office provides
ministry through resources and programs to support individual and family
spiritual needs. In addition to the programs listed on this website,
we also offer the following services:

|
Training
|
The Family
Life Office wishes to bring a family perspective to parish ministry.
We offer consultation with parishes regarding any family issue, and
are particularly interested in the formation and maintenance of
family ministry teams and commissions. Parishes and support
groups can arrange to have their volunteers for ministry trained
through the Family Life Office.
|
|
Speakers |
The office
maintains a list of national and local speakers who address many
areas of family life.
|
|
Parish
Liaisons |
All
parishes are encouraged to appoint one or more parishioners to be
their liaison to this office. Through mailings and meetings these
representatives are kept aware of opportunities for parishes to help
their families
|
|
Referrals |
If we cant
provide for your family needs, we often know who can! Although our
office does not offer counseling, the nature of our programs is such
that participants often find the need to seek professional
resources. Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of
Cincinnati provides such counseling.
In addition our professional
staff may be able to provide direction in various areas.
|
|
Networking |
By connecting
with like-minded sources we may be able to lighten your
efforts. |
|
Seminars |
The Family
Life Office regularly offers workshops, conferences and seminars on
family matters from conception to bereavement. To be put on our
mailing list for notification please call or email your
request. |
Please check our events calendar for dates of upcoming marriage, family,
and relationship enrichment programs. |
