We have been notified by the USCCB that Fr. Anton Mawatt, Diocese of Northampton, England, has been convicted on charges relating to the sexual abuse of children, and upon his release from prison, has changed his name to "Fr. Paul Scott."  Fr. Mowatt travels frequently to the United States and, using the name Paul Scott, may be able to misrepresent himself to church personnel in this country.
