Guardian Angels, a parish of more than 2,000 families, is seeking a full-time youth minister. The youth minister plans and leads a comprehensive catechetical youth ministry program. The youth minister will organize junior high and high school youth events, social activities, service opportunities, and an annual mission trip, while also organizing and encouraging participation in diocesan and other youth events. Assistance in Confirmation preparation may be incorporated. The youth minister recruits and engages adult volunteers to collaborate in ministries.  Applicant must be a practicing Catholic in good standing. A bachelor’s degree in a related field (theology, catechesis, religious studies) and certificate in youth ministry is desired. Experience working within youth ministry is preferred and social media communication ability is a must. The Archdiocese of Cincinnati seeks a Coordinator of Hispanic Ministry to coordinate and develop the evangelization programs of the Hispanic community, small faith communities, religious education of children and adults and the formation of volunteers and coordination of their services.  Also provides social justice education according to the Social Doctrine of the Church.

Applicants must have the following qualifications: be a practicing Catholic with a degree in Theology or Pastoral Ministry; possess experience in directing programs of evangelization or being certified in Catechesis and evangelization; have a profound understanding of the Hispanic culture and have lived for at least 5 years in Latin America; should also be fluent and have writing skills both in English and Spanish; must have excellent verbal communication to reach the community; it is also desirable that the coordinator be a Registered Facilitator in the VIRTUS and FOCCUS programs and to have some skills in administration.

The Assistant Director for Youth Discipleship assists the Director of the ONE to carry out programming and outreach to equip children and teens of the archdiocese to grow in discipleship and be effective evangelists, primarily through the implementation and execution of Archdiocesan Encounter Ministries. The Church of the Assumption in Mt. Healthy, Ohio is seeking qualified candidates for the part-time position of Director of Music Ministries.  Assumption is a vibrant parish that has a solid history of excellent liturgical music and choral programs. Candidates for this position must have a high degree of proficiency  in use of the organ; have a working knowledge of other  instruments  which might be used in liturgical music; have skill as an effective choral conductor; have a knowledge an appreciation of the Church’s liturgical tradition as well as current liturgical practice and liturgical music options; have the ability and desire to lead and sustain a program of quality congregational singing and have the leadership and communication skills to work collaboratively with pastor, staff and other parish organizations.

Responsibilities include weekly choir rehearsals September through May, music leadership for three week-end liturgies and special liturgies throughout the year, and taking responsibility for coverage of funerals (approximately 40-50 per year) and weddings (approximately 5-10 per year) . The Music Director will also be expected to attend Worship Committee meetings when needed (rarely), and provide guidance and support to cantors and our volunteer contemporary group.
