Responsible for needed services and support functions for the wedding rehearsals and ceremonies held at St. Clare Convent chapel. Schedules and provides tours prior to scheduling weddings. Coordinates required paperwork; provides chapel set-up, prepares bride’s room and/or other room accommodations, assists with wedding ceremony details on day of the wedding; cleans up and returns rooms/chapel to original settings after the wedding ceremony. Supports the wedding requirements of the Roman Catholic Church.

 
Part-time position. Generally works Thursday to Saturday with a very flexible schedule for about 20 to 24 hours a week. Hours based on weddings and rehearsals scheduled. Evening and weekend work.
 
High School graduate or GED with 1 to 2 years of work experience in positions dealing with the public; 2 to 4 years of experience preferred. Able to multitask, detail oriented, strong communication skills, ease in handling diverse situations required. EOE

The position is full time, 35 hours per week. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Assistant Director for CISE Schools, also provides support to the “Friends of CISE” Raffle Chair and coordinates all aspects of the annual raffle and will provide seasonal support for CISE fundraising activities.  Desired qualifications include:

 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Raiser’s Edge required.
  • Demonstrated project management skills required.
  • Strong proficiency in math aptitude and accuracy with data required.
  • Strong proficiency in composition and writing skills required.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Development Director must have a clear understanding of the organization’s mission and direct their work to accomplishing it. The Director is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic funding plan to raise vital funds for the organization in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner. The person in this position focuses on the introduction, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donor relationships and will work extensively with the Executive Director to develop and manage St. Vincent de Paul’s upcoming capital campaign. The Director will be a part of the senior leadership team and will be expected to collaborate with the other directors in an effort to better fund the overall operations of St. Vincent de Paul.

 
Job Responsibilities:
Develop & implement written, multi-year, diverse and innovative development plans to achieve projected financial and in-kind giving goals, critical success factors, and strategic goals
 
Plan and direct a full range of fundraising activities, including but not limited to a donor relationship program, direct mail, foundation giving, annual giving, planned giving, and donor acquisition and appreciation
 
Manage the grant lifecycle, including identifying prospective grantors, establishing relationships, completing grant applications and updating grantors on results
 
Partner with Community Relations team in support of special events and drives
 
Plan and develop written materials, brochures, letters to donors, etc.
 
Prepare and manage budget for the Development Department
 
Oversee donor database and reporting relating to the Development Department
 
Supervise development staff
 
 

Qualifications:   Bachelor’s degree; Five years of progressively responsible roles managing a fundraising or sales program; Experience in a variety of fundraising or sales methods (i.e. annual campaign, grants, major donor, corporate, special events, planned giving).  Strong organizational, management and interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written skills are required.  Strong computer skills required included in Word and Excel. Proficiency in donor management software (Donor Perfect preferred but not required). Experience with Capital Campaigns preferred.

 
 

Work Environment:  Office Environment; Hours vary – some evening and weekend hours required.
