The Director of Fund Development is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all fundraising efforts to support the mission of the Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics through a variety of platforms which identify, cultivate, solicit and stewards donors.

The Director of Fund Development is accountable for ensuring the organization has the financial resources and stewardship necessary to achieve our strategic, Board-approved outcomes and to maintain the highest ethical standards for the Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meets with prospective donors and supporters on a continual basis to establish effective relationships with them.
  • Maintains and develops gift/donor recognition programs to ensure proper acknowledgement, recognition and stewardship of donors.
  • Actively identify, and qualify new major and planned gift prospects.
  • Build a major gifts program including identification, cultivation and solicitation of major donors.
  • Grow a planned giving program with a focus on deferred gifts such as bequest expectancies.
  • Direct the annual fund drive & direct mail program.
  • Direct capital campaigns and other major fundraising drives.

Experience/Certification Required:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and fundraising experience

St. Robert Bellarmine Parish is searching for a half-time staff person (20 hrs/wk) to coordinate and cultivate music for worship, primarily for Sunday morning liturgies.  The successful candidate will be able to plan and select music for liturgies, execute music solo or as part of an ensemble, lead the choir and the congregation, train and support volunteer cantors and choir members, and develop the worship aids to support our parishioners in their desire to participate in liturgy, as well as introducing and teaching new music.
