Plans, coordinates, supervises and participates in the provision of services relating to information system design, maintenance, programming and documentation, data processing operations and data communication; provides highly technical and responsible advice and direct services in the area of data management and hardware and software operations to service providers, supervisors and managers; and; provides consultation and information as requested to administration relative to the data management, information and technology needs of the agency.
Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures related to electronic communications, data management technologies and computer usage
Plans, coordinates and manages activities involved in the analysis of information technology problems and the development of alternative solutions; In collaboration with administration: prepares, reviews and evaluates requests for proposals for data management products; and consults with manufacturer’s representatives to define equipment and software needs as assigned by the supervisor; Assures that assistance in managing data is provided to service providers, supervisors and managers in accordance with established policies and procedures ; Provides assistance to staff and management in resolving problems related to: information technology; data base entry and manipulation; hardware performance, updates, augmentations, trouble-shooting and maintenance; software applications; data and electronic voice communication; and, network performance; Coordinates with program directors and management to develop appropriate reports for programmatic and agency analysis, employee productivity, and funder requirements. Plans and coordinates technology training; Ensures Agency servers’ data integrity by establishing and executing appropriate data back-up processes. Participates in development and review of COA accreditation documentation and assists with on-site visit team. Administers agency domain and SSL certificate registrations as well as maintaining all software licensing. Reviews and if necessary coordinates process change to meet PCI & HIPAA compliance policies.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with installation and oversight of Client Tracking and Case Management Systems. Experience in computer hardware and software operations and systems development.
Principles and techniques of electronic data management systems analysis and computer program operating principles;
Practical and functioning knowledge and experience with Windows Services, Active Directory, Virtual Environments, Web Hosting, WAN, VLAN, VOPI, VPN, Office 365, SharePoint.
Practical and functional knowledge and experience in all aspects of database management tools’ capacities and functionality, including ETL functions; and
Practical and functional knowledge and experience in all aspects of electronic data processing hardware capacities and functionality, including trouble-shooting of PC server and other hardware systems.
