Seeking a part time (15 hours a week) maintenance person responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to building and grounds maintenance. Qualified candidate will perform day-to-day janitorial needs of the school and church.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to set-up and take-down for school or church functions, keeping walkways clear of snow and ice or debris, and keeping the outside grounds clean and well maintained.  The successful candidate must have the ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize them for both school and church.  A strong team member, ability to work well with others and good communication skills are a must.

 

The successful candidate must have a current valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary and preferably, some experience with janitorial or maintenance work is a plus. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.  Some evening and weekend work may be required on an as needed basis.  Exposure to weather changes, uncomfortable temperature and fumes are a part of the work environment.  The successful candidate must be able to handle frequent lifting and standing for long periods of time.

A part-time organist/pianist is needed at the two parishes in the pastoral region of Reading, OH, for two Saturday masses (3PM at Sts Peter & Paul with no cantor, and 5PM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart with cantor).  Applicant should be a practicing Catholic skilled in both organ and piano with good vocal skills as well.   Both parishes use the Gather 3 hymnal with a mix of contemporary and traditional hymns.  The Sunday Director will select hymns, so the musician is only needed to play.
