The Archdiocese of Louisville is hosting its 4th Annual Archdiocesan Black Catholic Congress on December 9, 2017. The keynote speakers are the Most Reverend Joseph Kurtz, Archbishop of Louisville; Peter Kodwo Appiah Cardinal Turkson, Dicastery for the Promotion of Integral Human Development; and Rev. Maurice Nkemefuna Emlu, Catholic Diocese of Orlu Nigeria. The theme for the 4th Annual Black Catholic Congress is Missionary Discipleship.

The 18th Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Keep the Dream Alive” Award Ceremony will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Church of the Resurrection, 1619 California Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45237. Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge, the Honorable Fanon Rucker will be keynote speaker. “Keep the Dream Alive” Award Ceremony’s Victory Sponsor is the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the Office of African American Pastoral Ministries.

Mass of Celebration – University of Dayton, February 11, 2018, 6:00 p.m. Chapel of the Immaculate Conception
On February 12, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., the University of Dayton, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and the Office of African American Catholic Ministries will host its Annual Mass Celebrating Black Catholic History Month. The Mass will be held at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, 300 College Drive Dayton, Ohio 45409. The presider will be Fr. Francis Tandoh, CSSP, and Deacon Royce Winters will be the homilist.
