 A Vibrant Church

Family praying in church
Living the mission of Jesus Christ, we are fostering a vibrant church in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati by embracing our future.  Pastoral regions – a cluster, grouping or association of autonomous parishes – are vital to our future.  This is the result of years of planning and consultation among archdiocesan leaders and parishes.

Remembrance in Honor of the 50th Anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s Assassination.
I extend an invitation for you to join the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in a Mass of Remembrance in Honor of the 50th Anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s Assassination. The Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Resurrection – Bond Hill, 1619 California Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45237. The Most Rev. Joseph Binzer, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati will serve as presider and preacher. For this Night of Remembrance, we’ve chosen the following theme, “A Time Comes When Silence Is Betrayal – A New Spirit Is Rising Among Us.” In this gathering of God’s people, the faithful and the faith-filled will honor the life and legacy of Dr. King and commit once more to eradicate the sin of racism, intolerance and hatred in our time and place.
