Chatfield College seeks its first Department Coordinators for the following departments: Human Services and Social Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Math and Science, Humanities and Arts. These positions are to begin in early August 2020. The Department Coordinators teach and oversee faculty at both of Chatfield’s campuses, serve in faculty governance, and reports directly to the Chief Academic Officer. Preferred candidates will have a Master’s degree related to the department in which they are applying. Experience in a college setting that includes the instruction of nontraditional students, distance delivery, pedagogical innovation, student learning assessment, communication across areas of the organization, and mission-guided decision making is strongly desired.  The Department Coordinators will serve as a member of a team focused on establishing practicum sites.  Applicants should specifically address these criteria in their cover letter, include unofficial copies of transcripts that attest to an earned qualifying degree and include a current resume or curriculum vitae.  The application window will remain open until all positions are filled.
