Resources and Programs for Parish Social MinistrySalt and Light Program: Training in Catholic Social Teaching and Parish Social MinistrySalt and Light is a program designed adult Catholics to facilitate the integration of the Church’s social mission into the life of the parish. Journey to Justice RetreatJourney to Justice is a transformative education process designed by the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) to bring together members of Catholic parishes and CCHD-funded groups so that they might better understand and act on the causes of poverty and injustice. The main event of the Journey to Justice is a weekend retreat providing parishioners the opportunity to: Immerse themselves in Scripture and Catholic social teaching; Interact with empowered low-income groups who are effecting changes in their situation; Commit themselves anew to the struggle for a more just society. JustFaithJustfaith is an in-depth adult faith formation program designed to deepen understanding of and commitment to the Gospel’s call to build a more just society.
