Give to the Church in Mission

The Mission Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is also the local office of the Pontifical Mission Societies. Donations to the Mission Office can be sent directly to local Catholics who are working in mission around the world. Or, donations can be earmarked for the Pontifical Mission Societies in general and will be used to support the worldwide mission of the Church through the Holy Father. The funds will be used by bishops, religious missionaries and indigenous lay people to improve the situations of the people with whom they work and to help form others in the faith.

With these efforts and programs, our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world are better equipped to help free themselves from poverty and oppression. When we stand in solidarity with them, we show the world the universality, the true Catholicity, of our Church. As we learn of the importance of stewardship and solidarity with our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world, we will grow into a fuller understanding of the true meaning of the Body of Christ. We will discover the path of justice and peace and see how God has graced each culture with its own uniqueness
