Catechism of the Catholic Church, #2267…“If bloodless means are sufficient to defend human lives against an aggressor and to protect public order and the safety of persons, public authority must limit itself to such means, because they better correspond to the concrete conditions of the common good and the dignity of the human person”.

From Archbishop of Cincinnati, the Most Reverend Dennis M. Schnurr:  “The Archdiocese is partnering with the Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center in concert with the Catholic Conference of Ohio and Ohioans to Stop Executions to organize activities on this issue in parishes, schools, and other Catholic institutions.  Your role in this campaign could entail having a speaker in between Sunday liturgies, or it could involve hosting a panel of vetted experts from across the state.
