CELEBRATING MARRIAGE $3.50 each / $3.25 for 25+
Celebrating Marriage, which now includes the new ritual texts of the Roman Missal, Third Edition, has been substantially revised to better meet the pastoral and spiritual needs of young adults preparing their marriage liturgy. This booklet invites couples into a deeper understanding of the sacrament of marriage and helps them to understand ‘why we do what we do’ in the marriage liturgy.  We have provided questions for reflection after each section; the Lectionary readings; ritual texts; sample intercessions; and planning sheets. Planning sheets are available online so that couples can download and print them.  We have also provided a section for couples to reflect upon their experience after the wedding liturgy.  For links to planning sheets click here.

These guidelines have been designed to help parishes to understand more fully the theology and history of adoration and exposition, as well as offer guidelines for the celebration of Exposition and Benediction.  The booklet offers reading and music suggestions for the Rite of Exposition as well as a planning guide to assist in the preparation of the rite.

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION: A Parish Formation Program, Archdiocese of Cincinnati  –  $3.00 or $2.75 if 10 or more are purchased
The purpose of this publication is to assist pastors and parish staff members in their ministry, especially as they train Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to carry out their duties within the liturgy with reverence and proper decorum.  The historical, theological, spiritual, and practical formation material included in the test will provide those who prepare training programs in the parish with useful information and resources, as well as serve as an excellent resource for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

PREPARING FUNERAL LITURGIES:  A Liturgical Handbook for Bereavement Committees (Revised) $7.50 each
As of Pentecost 2002, every parish is required to use the newly revised lectionary, not only for Sundays, but for weekdays and ritual masses.  The Worship Office has revised the funeral preparation handbook so that it now contains the official translation of the lectionary texts for funeral liturgies, as well as updated material on the preparation of funerals.  The revised edition also contains directives on the presence of cremated remains at the Funeral mass.  This new handbook will be very helpful for all bereavement ministers.

Mourning the Loss of an Unborn Child or Infant (brochure)
50 cents each
This new parish, hospital, and funeral home resource has been developed by the Worship Office and Family and Respect Life Office.  There are two parts to the resource: pastoral notes for pastoral leaders and a brochure for parents and families who have lost an unborn child or infant shortly after birth.  These circumstances are usually very difficult for the pastoral minister, particularly when trying to discern which rites of the Church are most appropriate in the various circumstances.  The pastoral notes are available online (click here) and the brochure can be ordered through the Worship Office at 513-421-3131 (ext. 6609) or email,

REFLECTIONS ON THE BODY, CREMATION, AND CATHOLIC FUNERAL RITES, Committee of the Liturgy National Conference of Catholic Bishops – $1.50 each
Developed in response to certain pastoral challenges to the revised rites of the Order of Christian Funerals, this statement reflects the fruits of the study by the NCCB Committee on the Liturgy about evolving Catholic burial practices with emphasis on the practice of cremation.
