The Cincinnati Frassati Fellowship (formerly St. Gertrude’s 20s Group)

The Cincinnati Frassati Fellowship is a group of young adults (18-33) striving to follow Christ after the model of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati. Our activities are inspired by the four pillars of Frassati’s life: prayer, study, charitable service, and love of the outdoors. Through these shared experiences, we bring our whole lives to Christ and allow our Christian friendship to grow in him. The Cincinnati Frassati Fellowship continues the work of the St. Gertrude’s 20s Group, begun in 2005 by Fr. Nicholas Lombardo, O.P. Our mission is to continue to foster growth in Christian holiness for young adults in the Cincinnati area, adapting the mission and nature of the 20s Group for the contemporary moment. Cincy Frassati meets every Thursday evening at St. Gertrude’s Church (6543 Miami Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45243). Meetings begin at 7:00 P.M. in the parish center with an hour of study and discussion on some topic of Christian living, followed by a period of adoration in the church. Afterwards we head out to a local pub for fellowship. Outside of these weekly meetings, we go for a day hike one Saturday a month, and take part in a service project one Saturday every other month. In addition to these regular events, members are free to organize group outings to movies, museums, concerts, parties, and the like.  Cincy Frassati is based out of St. Gertrude’s Church, but all young adults 18-33 in the Cincinnati area are welcome to join.
