The OYYAM assists parents and leaders of our parish and school faith communities in developing youth and young adults into followers of Christ who live their Catholic faith as a comprehensive way of life.

iLumen is a day-long and in depth exploration of Jesus’ call to discipleship for youth in grades 7 and 8. Recognizing they are created for greatness, youth will explore the “super powers” received in Baptism and be challenged to use them to build up God’s kingdom for the life of the world.

CHOSEN 2016:  If you missed last October’s event or are looking for a followup, a completely different Chosen event for 6-8th grade is coming featuring Paul J. Kim. This one evening event includes prayer, music, and engaging presentations to help your young people better understand what it means to be called by Jesus as a disciple today. Make it a part of your Confirmation preparation.  April 16, 2016.  More info coming soon.

March for Life

2016 March for Life: If you are planning to attend the March for Life in January 2016 with youth, consider making a stop at the Potomac Center on the evening after the march on your way home for an of fun, prayer and reflection with hundreds of others from the Cincinnati area. World Peace Mass

World Day of Peace Masses: January 1, 2016: The Archdiocese will again celebrate two Masses on the Solemnity of Mary in commemoration of the World Day of Peace on New Year’s Day. Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains and St. Albert the Great Church, Kettering, at 11am.
