Our goal for these pages is to provide you with some quality approaches and resources to help you design and implement a comprehensive, parish based adult faith formation effort. We appreciate the challenge that shifting from a child-centered paradigm of faith formation to one that centers around adults entails.
The Office of Evangelization and Catechesis has named adult formation as one of our highest priorities. Below is our statement of commitment to partnering with you.
OEC Dream Statement:
“The OEC actively supports all those who lead adults in their search to become more faith filled disciples and full participants in the life of the Church. We believe that ongoing faith formation is an essential component of membership in the Church. Together with those who lead adults we continually look for ways to do faith formation more effectively and to involve adults in the whole process of catechesis.”
