DV 0368  The Story of Stuff.  (Tides Foundation, 2009.  Audience: Junior High through Adults.)  This presentation answers the questions where does stuff come from and where does it go when disposed of.  It describes the materials economy and how it interacts in a real world with people who live and work in the system.  The United States is valued and measured by how much it can consume.  Consumption is seen as a way of life with no regard for stewardship, thrift and resourcefulness.  Planned and perceived obsolescence is also discussed.

DV 0370  Who Cares About the Saints? (Loyola Productions, 2009.  Audience: Senior High and Adults.)  Father James Martin provides an introduction of his own faith journey and tells the historical life of 12 saints:  Dorothy Day, Thomas Merton, Joan of Arc, Francis of Assisi, Mother Teresa, Ignatius Loyola, Bernadette Soubirous, Pope John XXIII, Therese of Liseux, Joseph, Peter, and Mary Mother of Jesus.  The last segment relates how one becomes a saint and how saints can be an inspiration and companion helping others to be who they are meant to be.  Each of the 14 segments can be shown individually.

DV 0372  Road to Emmaus.  (Vision Videos, 2009.  Audience: Senior High and Adults.)  The story of the road to Emmaus is reenacted with an interpretation of what was said on the journey.  A literal interpretation of Scripture is provided referring to the death and resurrection of Jesus as a plan put in place since creation.
