This kit includes three tapes. Two of them are the actual Gospel of John, which vividly comes to life in a faithful and powerful dramatization of the Gospel text. The text follows precisely the translation of the American Bible Society's Good News Bible. The third tape offers behind-the-scene documentary footage and historical commentary. There are in-depth interviews with the creative team and actors, as well as scholars of theology and religion. These help to enhance the viewers' understanding of Scripture, the ancient world and the personal quest of Jesus, His Ministry, Death and Resurrection.

This video is designed as a tool for faith formation for adults. It contains three of John's stories: The Woman at the Well, the Man Born Blind, and the Raising of Lazarus. In each session, a Gospel story is proclaimed, reflected on and a personal story. Participants are invited to reflect on and connect the story to their own faith story. Fr. Richard Fragomini does the homily for each story. The guide is complete and lends itself to use with the Scrutinies in the RCIA process.

A black family in the 1940's is threatened by an angry mob. A fire is set in front of their home making them captives and leaving them to wonder what will happen next. The father makes the decision to go out and confront the crowd. He knows he faces the possibility of death. He explains to his family that it is more important to stand up for those things that matter.

A young boy named Amos and his father are on their way to offer sacrifice at the Temple in Jerusalem. Amos asks questions about sacrifice and the reasons for sacrifice. As they approach the temple, they hear loud and angry voices. Jesus was disrupting business as usual and trying to remind people that the temple is to be a place of prayer.
