Public Fingerprinting

The Archdiocese does fingerprinting for the general public. We do electronic fingerprinting through the Ohio and National Webcheck system.

Currently, the charge for a BCI is $43 and FBI is $45. The cost for employees of schools certified by the State of Ohio Department of Education for BCI is $28 and FBI is $30. Payment can be made in the form of cash, money order or corporate check. Personal checks are not accepted.

It is the responsibility of the person being fingerprinting to know which fingerprints (BCI and/or FBI) need to be taken, and also the reason for being fingerprinted. BCI fingerprints are for Ohio and FBI fingerprints are for the other 49 states.

It is also the responsibility of the person being fingerprinted to know the correct address where the fingerprint results need to be sent.

The Archdiocese maintains 11 fingerprinting sites throughout the Diocese. Times and locations are found in this document. Please note that most parishes and offices are closed on Holidays. Fingerprinting Options

Non Archdiocesan Release Form

This is the form we request all people being fingerprinted to fill out. All Archdiocesan fingerprinting locations have a supply of these forms. However, you may print and fill this form out prior to being fingerprinted. Non Archdiocesan Release Form.

National Webcheck Waiver

By State law, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is not able to fingerprint anyone under the age of 18 unless a parent has given their consent. If you are under the age of 18 and need to be fingerprinted, please have a parent or guardian fill out this form and bring it along with you when you are being fingerprinted. National Webcheck Waiver
