Web site features past inaugural addresses With the recent inauguration of President Barack Obama, teachers may want to review inaugural speeches of past U.S. presidents, as they reflect much of what was going on in the country at that particular time. For example, given the present economic crisis, it might be interesting for students to look at FDR’s first inaugural address and compare it with that of President Obama’s. Click here for the Bartleby Web site which features texts of past inaugural addresses |
