Posted 4/29/09 MENTOR TRAINING WORKSHOPS - SUMMER 2009

PATHWISE WORKSHOP
This is Part 1 of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati requirements for mentor training.  Pathwise is a mentoring framework to assist mentors and entry year teachers as they prepare for the Praxis III.  The training will focus on the four domains and 19 elements of good teaching that parallel Praxis III, and is good training for all teachers.  Through the use of exercises, videotape simulations, and case studies, participants learn to observe teaching with a consistent and standardized process.  Cost includes materials, lunch and 1.2 CEUs.  Pay at the workshop.  Make check payable to Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  NOTE:  Title II funds cannot be used for this workshop as it is not content area specific.  Two quarter credits are available through the University of Cincinnati, or one semester hour through the College of Mt. St. Joseph, for an additional fee. This workshop will be held based on sufficient registration.  Check this site for cancellation notice.

MENTORING IN A CATHOLIC SCHOOL WORKSHOP
