2008 Operation Rice Bowl Challenge Grants
The Catholic Social Action office is offering two $500 challenge grants to parishes and/or schools that participate in Operation Rice Bowl this Lent using creative strategies. Operation Rice Bowl is the official Lenten program of Catholic Relief Services. The Catholic Social Action office administers ORB for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and is offering two challenge grants, upon completion of ORB, to:
- A "new" participating parish or school (meaning your parish or school has not participated in the last five years),
- A "most improved" previous participant.
Submission deadline is May 30, 2008. Mail or email completed application to: Catholic Social Action, 266 Bainbridge Street, Dayton, OH 45402.
