One Human Family, Food for All

Pope Francis has launched a campaign of prayer and action against hunger. Organized by Caritas, a wave of prayer started December 10 at noon on the island of Samoa and will progress around the world. A Milestone: 35 Years of Service

The Over-The-Rhine Kitchen is turning thirty-five.  On June 24, 2012, the organization will hold its first Gala to celebrate this milestone at the Mayerson JCC in Amberley Village.  To enhance the 35th anniversary celebration, the Kitchen has also been selected by Creflo Dollar Ministries when the CHANGE Experience comes to Cincinnati to be the recipient of a monetary donation from the Ministries. This event will take place at the Duke Energy Convention Center on May 25, 2012.  The Ministries makes a donation to a specific non-profit organization in every city they hold services.  The Kitchen was …

Man’s Inhumanity to Man

No doubt when Martin uttered that quote as a man of faith he believed times would get better. Now fast-forward forty plus years into the future and the practice still flourishes.
