Service to God

Ever consider Lay Missionary Service?  It’s faith- life transforming!  Never too old! Did you know the Mormons expect two years of mission work …as do some Mennonite churches?  Some of them have asked me, “Are Catholics expected to give a few years in service to God and their church?”  I usually reply, “Well, it’s not expected but those that do serve even for 6 months or a year are wonderfully transformed.” I can relate to that from my own personal experience.
