#PrayforPeace: A Tweet-Cyclical

If you are not on Twitter, you may be unaware of how intense the Pope has been using that social network to preach the Gospel under the handle @Pontifex.  Over time the Pope is becoming savvier with Twitter (or at least he is allowing his Twitter interns to do so). I think I noticed the first Papal hashtag this past World youth day when he tagged his tweets with #Rio2013 and #JMJ. “Are you for us?” A Lesson in Solidarity

The big news this past week was the tenuous cease fire reached in the Gaza, Israel conflict. I had been watching with great trepidation the situation in Gaza over the past few weeks. While Israel and Hamas exchanged a seemingly unending barrage of missiles at each other, the internet seems to be explode with  similar hostility. The Legacy of War

Webster defines WAR as 1. a conflict carried on by force of arms, as between nations or between parties within a nation; warfare, as by land, sea, or air. 2. a state or period of armed hostility or active military operations: The two nations were at war with each other.
