A golden celebration
St. Christopher Church in Vandalia was filled on March 29, as more than 150 couple attended a special Mass celebrated by Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk to mark 2008 as the year of their golden wedding anniversary.


Firefighters' funerals scheduled at Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains

ARCHDIOCESE - Thousands of firefighters from across the nation were to gather at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains on April 9, joining local firefighters at a Mass of Christian Burial for two fallen heroes. Father James Bramlage, pastor, was to preside at the funeral.


Lunch with old friends
ARCHDIOCESE - The annual senior clergy luncheon was held April 2 at Bergamo Center, giving retired priests the chance to celebrate Mass with Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk, share a meal and catch up on each other's lives and ministries.
