Deacons celebrate silver anniversary
DAYTON DEANERY — Conversation and laughter filled Our Lady of Good Hope Church in Miamisburg July 3 as the permanent deacon class of 1982 reunited to celebrate their silver anniversary on the Feast of St. Thomas.

Haitian village grows, one block at a time
ST. MARYS DEANEARY — A year ago, Ben Huelskamp had built homes for three needy families in Haiti. But he had begun to feel frustrated by the intensive labor the project required. He considered giving up his dream of establishing a village near the town of Plaisance.


Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur elect leadership team
ST. ANDREW DEANERY — The Ohio Province of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, which is headquartered in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, recently selected the members of the leadership team who will guide the 203-year-old community for the next three years.


Students honored as Badin High holds first academic signing day
HAMILTON DEANERY — Eighteen students were honored as Badin High School hosted its first academic signing day in late May.
