Grateful Believers
Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk has begun a new initiative that he hopes will build an archdiocese of "grateful believers." This column, which will appear weekly in The Catholic Telegraph in the coming months, is part of this diocesan-wide endeavor.

Snow doesn’t smother anniversary celebration
SPRINGFIELD DEANERY — Snow drifts caused by the previous day’s blizzard and a countywide snow emergency didn’t stop St. Joseph in Springfield from celebrating its 125th anniversary on March 9.

ARCHDIOCESE — The Archdiocesan Pastoral Council gathered for its quarterly meeting on March 15 at the Athenaeum of Ohio.


A league of their own
ARCHDIOCESE — The 2007-08 academic year has marked 14th year that schools from the Greater Catholic League (GCL) and the Girl’s Greater Cincinnati League (GGCL) have not only competed on the playing field, but also "in the classroom".


Event designed to reenergize youths
SIDNEY DEANERY — An evening of song, prayer, a speaker and even a skit is intended to invigorate youths in faith and encourage them to carry that energy back to their parishes.
