CATHEDRAL DEANERY - At a Nov. 4 Mass that marked 50 years since the renovation and rededication of St. Peter in Chains Cathedral.


Little Flower, Assumption, St. Ann schools contemplate consolidation
ST. MARGARET MARY DEANERY - Parishioners and parents of children who attend school at St. Therese Little Flower, Assumption in Mount Healthy and St. Ann in Groesbeck have been informed that a steering committee has recommended closing the schools next June and establishing a new, consolidated school opening in August 2008.

Catholic Central closing Urbana campus
SPRINGFIELD DEANERY - The Urbana campus of Catholic Central School will close after this school year because of a dwindling number of students, school officials recently said.
