Pope names Duluth bishop coadjutor archbishop of Cincinnati
Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk introduced coadjutor Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr at a news conference Friday at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral. Archbishop Schnurr has been bishop of Duluth, Minn. since 2001. Pope Benedict XVI made the appointment Friday morning.

Cranberry Prairie church marks 150th anniversary

ST. MARYS DEANERY — The tidy brick church in rural Cranberry Prairie was a bit brighter and livelier Sept. 28 as St. Francis Parish celebrated its 150th anniversary.
