Archdiocese ordains three to be ‘the men in the middle’
ARCHDIOCESE — The ministry of the priest is a complex one, and the priest is essentially the "man in the middle," in between God, the source of his priesthood, and the people who are the object of it, Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk reminded the three men ordained to the priesthood May 17.

ST. LAWRENCE DEANERY — A lot has changed since 1972, when Father Bruce Ritter, OFM Conv., began Covenant House in an attempt to shelter the numerous homeless youths he encountered on the streets of New York City.


Mary, Help of Christians School to close
SPRINGFIELD DEANERY — Mary Help of Christians School in Fairborn, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this school year, will close because of declining enrollment.
