Sisters of Charity renew vows, celebrate jubilees
ARCHDIOCESE Ten Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati celebrated 50 years as religious during a Golden Jubilee Liturgy held July 21 in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at the Sisters Motherhouse, Delhi Township.
Sisters Therese Dery, Mary Lucia Dudzinski, Noreen Ellison, Julie Gatza, Katherine Hoelscher, Ruth Kuhn, Barbara Padilla, Carolyn Ann Siebert, Martha Walsh and Patricia Wlock renewed their vows stating:
"In response to Gods call which we answered 50 years ago, we, wholeheartedly, renew our Vows: In the name of the most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I renew my life commitment to love and serve God and Gods people.
"To witness to this love, I renew my vows of poverty, consecrated celibacy and obedience according to the Constitutions of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati. True to the heritage of Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, Elizabeth Ann Seton and Margaret Cecilia George, I will rely on the Holy Spirit and live my life in community. With prayer and discernment, I will strive to serve the needs of my sisters and brothers in simplicity and charity, remembering that you, O God, are ever-present."
