| Sister Veronica Wolf
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ursuline Sister Veronica Wolf, 93, was held at St. Ursula Convent Chapel on July 3. Sister Veronica died at Mercy St. Theresa Center in Mariemont on June 29. She was a member of the Ursulines of Cincinnati for almost 75 years.
A native of La Rue, Ohio, Sister Veronica entered the Ursulines in 1932, following in the footsteps of her siblings, Sisters Teresita and Mercedes, who were already members of the congregation. Sister Veronicas educational ministry spanned decades and included assignments at Holy Name, St. Monica, All Saints, St. Henry, St. Stephen and Our Lady of Visitation Schools, along with St. Ursula Academy. Each summer, she and a group of other Sisters would also travel to St. Marys in Arnheim and to other small parishes without schools to teach religious education and prepare the children to receive the sacraments.
She is survived by her brother, Father John Wolf, of Fredericktown, Ohio.
Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery.
