ST. MARGARET MARY DEANERY - Our Lady of Visitation School celebrated its prestigious award from the United States Department of Education in October with great flourish and numerous activities in November, including marking a trip Nov. 12 and 13 by principal Terry Chapman and a teacher, Sandra Heitz, to Washington, D.C., to receive the award. Our Lady of Visitation School is one of 50 private schools out of an original 130 applicants nationwide to receive this prestigious designation in 2007. Our Lady of Visitation joined other schools selected at an awards ceremony in mid-November, where the schools received a plaque and a flag signifying their Blue Ribbon School status.
