Services Offered by the Worship Office:

 

The Worship Office primarily serves priests, deacons, pastoral associates, worship commissions, and pastoral musicians. 

 

The Worship Office provides consultation and resources in the areas of liturgy, environment and art, liturgical music, sacraments, and the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.

 

The Worship Offices provides numerous programs for ongoing liturgical renewal and formation:

• Lay Leaders of Prayer

• Funeral Preparation for Bereavement Committees

• Role of Parish Worship Commissions

• Children’s Liturgy

• House of Salvation and Grace (for Building and Environment Committees)

• RCIA in the Parish

• RCIA Team Formation Days

The Worship Office also provides days of reflection for parish liturgical ministers (upon request).

 The Worship Office publishes a number of liturgy preparation resources and guidelines to assist musicians and other pastoral ministers in the preparation of liturgical celebrations (e.g. Celebrating Marriage, Preparing Funeral Liturgies, Guidelines for Adoration and Exposition, Liturgy of the Hours).  Go to “Resources” for more information.

 

The Worship Office assists national offices with liturgical celebrations to be held in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. (i.e. NPM National Convention, NACPA National Convocation, North American Institute on Catholic Evangelization)
