Festival
of Praise: The next Cincinnati area Festival of Praise will occur
on

St. Monica-St. George Church
in Cincinnati (328 W. McMillan St., Cincinnati, 45219). The
Tri-State Eucharistic Festivals of Praise are for people of ALL ages
with the purpose of drawing Catholics into a deeper personal

hands and feet in this world. There will be opportunities for
confession, and fellowship will follow. Our Lord is not far away, but
among us truly present in the Eucharist and wants to spend time with
us and wants us to know His love.

Please consider helping out Big Brothers and Big Sisters
of Cincinnati.
There is a huge need for mentors in our area. If you have some free time
during the weekday you can mentor a child at school. If you
have free time on evenings or weekends you could mentor a child in the
community (regular Big Brother Big Sister role). The commitment is generally
1-2 hours a week most weeks (most meet their Little Brothers/ Sisters 2-4 times a month).
You pick them up and take them to a game, the park, the mall, fishing, build a snow man, etc. It is a lot of fun. You don't
need to be a social worker or teacher or have any experience with kids.
You only need the ability to listen, encourage and have fun. For more information, contact
Lynn Cameron at (513) 421-4120 or
cameron@bigsforkids.org.
You don't have to change your life to change
theirs...mentor someone today.

Pray-as-you-go
is a free daily prayer session designed for use on your portable MP3
players to help you pray while traveling to and from work, study, etc. It is
not a 'Thought for the Day', a sermon or a bible-study, but rather a
framework for your own prayer. Lasting between 10 and 13 minutes, it
combines music, scripture and some questions for reflection. The aim is to
help you to
become more aware of God's
presence in your life
listen to and reflect on God's word
grow in your relationship with God
It is produced by Jesuit Media
Initiatives, with material written by a number of British Jesuits and other
experts in the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Although the content
is different every day, it keeps the same basic format. Visit
pray-as-you-go.org
for more information and to get started today!
