The
6th Eucharistic Festival of Praise
will occur on June 27, 2009, 7:30-9:30pm, at St.
Ignatius Loyola Church (5222 North Bend Rd., Cincinnati 45247). The Tri-State Eucharistic
Festivals of Praise are for people of ALL ages with the purpose of drawing
Catholics into a deeper personal relationship with our Eucharistic Lord,
deepening their desire to receive Him frequently in Holy Communion at Mass, and
setting people's hearts on fire for God and His Church so as to better be His
hands and feet in this world. There will be opportunities for confession, and
fellowship will follow. Our Lord is not far away, but among us truly present in
the Eucharist and wants to spend time with us and wants us to know His love.
Let us rejoice! No registration! No cost! Please visit

Twenty-four young adults met Archbishop
Schnurr for dinner on May 19
at CHAMPPS Restaurant in West Chester. The young adults
are leaders in a variety of young adult ministries — in their parishes
or in gatherings like Theology on Tap. Archbishop Schnurr heard from each group
about their experiences in the archdiocese as young adults, their most
successful approaches to supporting young adult ministry and also their
greatest challenges.
Archbishop Schnurr shared his thoughts about young
adult ministry as well. The archbishop was encouraging in his words to
those present about the importance of continuing to be active in their
faith lives, using their talents to grow their ministries and not
expecting parish staffs to do the work alone. He closed the evening with
a blessing.
The meeting was organized by the Archdiocesan Office of
Youth and Young Adult Ministries.
