Sean
Reynolds is Director of the Archdiocese of
Cincinnati Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. With more than thirty
years of youth ministry experience, Sean earned a Bachelors in Theology
from Xavier University, a Masters in Community and Organizational
Development from Loyola University Chicago, a Certificate of Advanced
Studies in Youth Ministry from the Center for Ministry Development, and a
Doctor of Ministry degree with the Graduate Theological Foundation. He
formerly served on the Board of Directors of the United States Catholic
Conference of Bishops Commission on Certification and Accreditation and is
currently on the Board of the National Federation for Catholic Youth
Ministry. A frequent presenter at national conferences, Sean is the author
of Multiply the Ministry, published by St. Mary's Press.
Tim Colbert is Regional Director of the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Tim holds a B.A. in Religious Education and
an M.A. in Systematic Theology from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL,
along with Youth Ministry Certification from the Archdiocese of CIncinnati. Tim has been involved in youth ministry
since 1979, both in parishes and Archdiocesan offices in the Archdioceses of Miami and Cincinnati.
In addition to his thirty years of youth ministry experience, Tim has taught in the Lay Pastoral Ministry Program and is
currently on the adjunct faculty of the University of Dayton. Tim is a past chairperson of the Leadership Formation And Development Committee for the NFCYM..
Andrea Parker
is the Associate Director of the Dayton Office of Youth and Young
Adult Ministry. Before coming to the Archdiocese in 1998, she
served for sixteen years in parishes and schools in the Diocese of
Bridgeport as a Director of Religious Education, Coordinator of Youth
Ministry, high school religion teacher and music minister. Andrea
holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Sacred Heart University in
Fairfield, CT and Youth Ministry Certification from the Archdiocese of
Cincinnati.. Before discerning a vocation to ministry, Andrea was a
fine arts student at the University of Connecticut and much of our
office publicity have been designed by her. Andrea has expertise in forming youth for prayer
and worship and adolescent faith formation. She is a co-author of
the document Effective Models of Adolescent Catechesis.
Bob Wurzelbacher
is the Associate Director of the Cincinnati Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
He holds a Masters Degree in Pastoral Ministry from the Oblate
School of Theology in San Antonio, TX, another Masters in Library
and Information Science from the University of Texas, and a B.A.
in Psychology from Boston College along with his Youth
Ministry Certification from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. He is an accomplished musician
and choir director, with a functional knowledge of Spanish, who
brings campus ministry, retreat work and vocations experience to
the office. With his background in information science he also
brings expertise in electronic communications. Prior to working in
this office, his most recent position was Director of Youth
Ministry at St. Gertrude Parish in Madeira, where he served for four years.
Monica Lou Placke Sellers provides full-time administrative
support for the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, which she joined in April
1999. With over twenty-four years of experience as an office
professional, she serves as our receptionist, secretary,
administrative assistant, bookkeeper, and office manager. Monica
also manages the Catholic religious emblems programs for the Boy Scouts, Girl
Scouts and American Heritage Girls of the Archdiocese. After graduating from Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills, KY, she earned a Bachelors degree in Sociology &
Social Work from Edgecliff College of Cincinnati, now part of Xavier University.
Monica is a member of the Cincinnati Chapter of the International
Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).
