09/28/2010 – Catholics Know Less About Religion Than Athiests?!

On Wednesday, September 28th, the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life released results of a recent study comparing religious knowledge of various religious groups. The survey focused on knowledge of different world religions and Catholics came out near the bottom. Take the quiz here. Now, how well do you know the Catholic faith (pick one)?

10/14/2010 – Pope Benedict Canonizes Six New Saints!!

The communion of saints recognized by the church has now grown by six! Here is a brief video of the canonization ceremony. Get to know a little about each of them in this video. 11/10/2010 – Cincinnati Vocation Office Website Gets a Facelift!
On Wednesday, the vocation office announced the launch of its new look at www.cincinnativocations.org. This blog based website will now allow for more frequent updates, more user interaction, and more content! Check it out!

01/30/2011 – Cast Your Nets in Cincinnati!

Good Shepherd in Cincinnati will be hosting the 3rd Cincinnati Cast Your Nets event from 5-9 pm. We are blessed to have Archbishop Dennis Schnurr to celebrate Mass with us and music will be led by Last Day. Our speaker will be chastity educator, Courtney Brown, from Ruah Woods and our MC for the night will be Annie Mitchell of the SonRise Morning Show. Register online!  

 

03/27/2011 – Cast Your Nets in the North!

Sacred Heart in McCartyville will once again host the Northern event and Archbishop Schnurr will once again be with us to celebrate Mass!! Music will be led by Jon Paul Hebert. The event will run from 5-9 pm on that Sunday night. More details will be coming in the near future, but mark your calendars now!
