Check out this link for a summary of what the Holy Father had to say about priests: Vatican Information Services. BE BOLD TIPS

  • It’s summer time, which often means it’s mission trip time! Take this time off from school to volunteer at a local food pantry or soup kitchen once a week or clean out your closets and donate all your old winter clothes, toys, shoes, and books to the local Goodwill, Salvation Army, or Pregnancy Center.
  • Summer is a great time to make time for your prayer life and catch up on some spiritual reading. Spend some time at your parish’s Eucharistic Adoration and look for books such as With God in Russia by Fr. Walter J. Ciszek, Story of a Soul by St. Therese of Lisieux, or catch up on some of your favorite saints in Modern Saints: Their Lives and Their Faces by Ann Ball. Oh, and don’t forget your rosary!
