GENERAL INFORMATION:
 

What:


 

A four day, 3 night intensive experience for youth involved or seeking to be involved as music ministers in Catholic parishes or campus ministries. Participants will interact with peers from around the archdiocese, honing their musical skills in a particular area (voice, keyboard, guitar, brass, winds, percussion or strings) and learning principles of liturgy and music ministry. They will participate in a variety of forms of liturgical prayer, engage in dialogue with local liturgical experts, and enjoy social activities.
 
When: LAUDATE will be held Monday, June 9th through Thursday, June 12th.  Please arrive between 6-6:30 PM on Monday evening. The program ends Thursday afternoon at 6:00 PM.

Cost: By May 1:    $305 per person
                  $290 p/person for parish groups of 3 or more
After May 1: $330 per person
                  $315 p/person for parish groups of 3 or more

Meals:
 
Meals are included; however, participants should eat dinner before arriving on Monday and dinner will not be served before departure on Thursday
 
Closing Vespers:

 
We encourage family members to attend the closing vespers on Thursday June 12th at 5 p.m. at Queen of Apostles Chapel next door to the retreat center.
 
What to bring:

 
A list of what to bring will be sent to each participant upon registering
Reconciliation: The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available for those who desire it.
