The links on the left will take you to information for pilgrims traveling from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati to Australia for World Youth Day.  For those outside the Archdiocese, visit the USCCB site at www.wydusa.org or the official international site at www.wyd2008.org.   If you wish to celebrate WYD but can’t go to Australia, see below for an exciting regional option right here in the Archdiocese, in Sidney, Ohio.

Can't make it to Australia for World Youth Day 2008? For those who would like to join in the celebration, for significantly less time and money, the dioceses of Ohio and Michigan are planning a terrific event! On the very same weekend as our friends who have journeyed to Australia, July 19-20, 2008, we will host an event in Sidney, OH on the grounds of Lehman High School. The event is complete with the experience of sleeping outside under the stars, great music, great speakers and inspiring prayer and worship. In addition, we will have a jumbo screen to broadcast some of the live events in Australia. All this for a cost in the neighborhood of $100 per person! We will keep you posted as the details progress – but mark your calendars now to join youth from all of Ohio and Michigan at this special event! Check out the flyer here for more information, and follow these links to our band www.spiritandsong.com/artists/whodoyousayiam
and our main speaker www.mikepatin.com.
